Prosenjit & Jeet Together In Raja Chanda's Next Film

One Of The Hottest News Of Recent Time Is Jeet & Prosenjit Chatterjee Are Working Together In A Film Directed By Raja Chanda. Raja Chanda Informed That "This Film Won't Be A Remake, I'm Working On The Script, Which Has To Be Strong Enugh To Do Justice To The Abilities Of Both Stars" This Will Be A Thriller Film.
"Bumbada (Prosenjit) and Jeet have been wanting to work together for a long time. Finally that dream is coming true. This project will be a huge challenge for me too. The story will show these two characters as opposing forces. There is a confrontation leading up to the climax. We can't disclose anything more now," Raja Chanda Also Said.
He has worked with Jeet in Bachchan and has directed Prosenjit in Force, apart from many ad commercials. 
Prosenjit who is all praise for Raja after working with him in Force, said, "Isn't it too early to talk about the film? Yes, both Jeet and I have been wanting to work together for a while. Every time the two of us meet Raja, the topic of discussion is this film." The hunt is still on for the two leading ladies to be cast opposite the two heroes.
The news of this casting coup hasn't come as a surprise though. Of late, Prosenjit and Jeet have been spotted together often. While Jeet has been seen shaking a leg to Prosenjit's hit songs, the senior actor has visited Jeet's office for adda. Jeet has also paid a return visit to his house. Raja wants to cash in on this camaraderie. "Bumbada is the epitome of professionalism. He understands everything from production design to direction and publicity. Jeet is such a down-to-earth person despite his stardom. I'm sure I'll draw the best out of them," said Raja. The film will go on the floors around end- November. Chander Pahar Celebrated 100 Days At Inox, South City, Kolkata

Kamaleswar Mukherjee's Chander Pahar, An Adaption Of Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadayay's Novel Of The Same NameCompleted 100 Days Recently. The Entire Cast And Crew Was Present And Celebrated The Occasion By Cutting A Cake At South City Inox, Kolkata. Hundreds Thronged To Catch Their Hero Shankar Aka Dev.

 Describing 'Chander Pahar' as a big step for Bengali film industry, director Kamaleswar Mukherjee says it may be a never-before success.  

"We may not have anticipated it would become such a big success," the physician-turned 'Uro Chithi' director told PTI on the occasion of the Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay children's adventure thriller based on South Africa notching up the 100 days' screening record.  

"Even today there is 35 per cent occupancy rate at Inox and other plexes. The film was also feted and applauded in overseas," Kamaleswar said attributing the success to the fiction's protagonist Shankar, Aka Dev.  

The film's music director Debojyoti Mishra said, "In this film Kamaleswar, Lion, Black Mamba, Elephant and Dev - everybody is the Hero."

"Chander Pahar has succeeded to create a broad canvas reaching the Hollywood mark in terms of mount, effect and imageries," Mishra said about the Shree Venkatesh Production.

The biggest Bengali film of all-time has achieved the 'impossible'! Kamaleshwar Mukherjee's magnum-opus completes 50-days in style by going past the monumental 15 Cr mark! Here Is The Snapshot Which Is Twitted By Taran Adarsh & Alao Mentioned The Weekwise Box Office Collection..

The 7th week collections witnessed a steep fall from 62 Lacs to just 25 Lacs; but even that was enough to recover its budget and take the final figure to a mind-boggling INR 15.20 Cr. But that's not all. The film has created several other records by completing 50-days at 27 centres in West Bengal. This is the 1st occasion of a film completing 50 days in Kolkata after releasing in 100+ halls in the State. The film has completed this mark in 18 centres in Kolkata, which is also the highest ever. The film has created several individual records at most Kolkata theatres; a detailed analysis of which will be provided later on. The number of shows have come down from 2 to 1 at 'Ajanta' (Behala), 'Inox' (Hiland Park, South City & Rajarhat) and 'Padmashree' (Jadavpur). The film has lost 'Inox' (Swabhumi), 'Broadway' (Salt Lake), 'Jaya' (Barasat) and 'Purabi' (Sealdah). But looking at the overall condition the film is likely to enjoy quite a long run even now.
